Demanding Offshore Engineering Project Completed

Tinsley Bridge have recently completed a number of items manufactured for highly demanding marine applications.

Using expertise in design and fabrication at Tinsley Bridge, the equipment supplied included a specialist shipping skid platform. The equipment was ordered by a major supplier of innovative technology systems to the global energy market.

Alan Richardson, Tinsley Bridge Engineering Manager said “The initial design work was modified and structurally verified using our inhouse 3D modelling facility, the project requiring all design and the complex manufacture of the assembly to be completed to DNV standards. The manufacturing plan was designed to ensure the integrity of the equipment in use and bearing in mind the extreme challenges operating plant in a marine environment. As part of sign off the unit was proof load tested to 16 tonnes, and we are delighted to successfully support an important customer using the wide ranging manufacturing capabilities available at Tinsley Bridge.
