Quality and Accreditation

Working in challenging environments on complex projects where safety, quality and reliability are fundamental, requires excellence in terms of project management, documentation and accreditation. At Tinsley Bridge our reputation is enhanced by accreditations designed to ensure rigorous testing and quality standards are meticulously observed.

BS EN 1090
Execution Class 4

Working in the most safety critical environments requires the highest levels of quality assurance. Tinsley Bridge Group conforms to the BS EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011 standard.

The company certification is to Execution Class 4 which is the highest achievable level. This demonstrates that the company is able to provide advanced level compliance to the CE marking required in structural steel regulation and is competent to work on the most demanding, zero tolerance projects in areas such as rail, construction, national and nuclear installations.

IATF 16949 Global Automotive Standard

We are accredited to IATF 16949 global automotive standard and ISO 9001:2000 quality management system requirements. IATF 16949 is an extension to ISO 9001 requirements and demands exacting quality systems, and procedures to achieve continuous improvements in quality performance.

Our quality programme measurably improves supplier performance in the specific areas of quality, cost, delivery, responsiveness and manufacturing efficiency, and provides the impetus to transform basic quality management systems into vibrant and integrated business operating systems.

The BS EN ISO 3834 comprehensive quality standard covers the design, manufacture and installation (fabrication, welding and assembly) of engineered products and specialist equipment including safety critical items using carbon, stainless and duplex steels.

The company has achieved a TUV certification to BS EN ISO 3834-2:2005 Fusion Welding to assure our clients of a fully qualified team of experienced coded welders as part of its fabrication activities.

ISO 45001 is a framework for an occupational health and safety (OHS) management system and is a part of the ISO 45000 series of standards, along with ISO 45002. It ensures that the policies, procedures and controls needed for us to achieve the best possible working conditions and workplace health and safety, are in place and aligned to internationally recognised best practice.

Tinsley Bridge also works within the environmental policies of ISO 14001, designing solutions around reusable resources for product packaging. We are committed to reducing our environmental impacts and reducing carbon emissions by using the most energy efficient processes available.
