The key characteristic of our product development strategy is technical innovation and engineering excellence which combine to deliver unique products and offer a competitive advantage to customers. Extensive in house capabilities include 3D CAD, finite element analysis & computer modelling used to deliver rapid development support.
New developments include high strength steels (>2000MPa UTS), high volume tube stabiliser bar (40% weight saving) and hybrid composite parts. A fully equipped on-site metallurgical laboratory is supported by three full time metallurgists and also equipped with three x servo hydraulic fatigue durability test rigs. Our significant in-house design and test capability is enhanced by access to cutting edge research and design programmes in collaboration industry leading universities and research organisations.
