Tinsley Bridge have teamed up with The University of Sheffield and Sheffield Engineering Leadership Academy (SELA) in an innovation project. Digital technology was introduced to reduce energy use during the manufacture of automotive suspension components, and to help deliver a green economy for the Sheffield City Region.
Tinsley Bridge were featured in a list of the regions top companies, published by the Star in December. Results of the latest Top 50 SMEs survey, carried out annually by one of the largest independent Chartered Accountants BHP and Star Business, were announced for 2019.
Tinsley Bridge recently completed a major refurbishment contract of two large mill pinions for the steel industry.
The top and bottom pinions have a combined weight of 31 tonnes and are destined for the UK’s largest steel plant.
