Tyzack Machine Slideways for China

Tyzack Machine Knives have recently supplied Niles Simmons of Germany with new Box Type Slideways destined for a Chinese customer.

All Tyzack slideways are ‘through hardened’ slideways to meet the tightest tolerances required by high end, heavy duty machine tools. They are the pinnacle of dimensional control and surface finish for the most demanding applications, and a great example of Sheffield engineering excellence.

All these slideways were specified as the box way through hardened type, the Chinese customer appreciating the benefits of dimensional stability and vibration absorption for precise machining and grinding of crankshafts. Daimler had already made the same conclusion, other manufacturers are expected to follow the technology gains from machine tool slideways compared to linear type track systems!
