Extralite on show at Defence Vehicle Dynamics Exhibition (DVD 2012) at Millbrook

We exhibited at the DVD Exhibition for the first time, this year.

Our stand at DVD showcased our innovative Extralite torsion bar upgrade for the Warrior & CVR(T) Defence vehicles which met an Urgent Operational Requirement for the Ministry of Defence. The Extralite torsion bar helped achieve a significant improvement in suspension performance, and the Tinsley Bridge contribution was widely recognised by UK Government ministers, the MOD and receipt of industry innovation awards.

Also attracting attention at the show was the new General Dynamics Land Systems Force Protection Europe Foxhound vehicle which uses torsion bar suspension manufactured by Tinsley Bridge.  Martin Filleul commented: “I felt that the show was a success for us. We met a lot of like minded people and organisations that we have been keen to contact and establish a rapport with.”

DVD is one of the most important events in the defence diary for companies involved in equipment support and sustainment for the UK’s Armed Forces.
