Contractor Safety Award
Tinsley Bridge have been presented with the “Contractor Safety Award” by the global Stainless Steel manufacturer Outokumpu.
Outokumpu nominated Tinsley Bridge in recognition of an outstanding approach to Safety, both within the Tinsley Bridge workshops and also while working on site within the Stainless Steel producers manufacturing facilities.
Kevin Charlesworth, Operations Director, said “We have strived to achieve an effective partnership with Outokumpu in the pursuit of a safe workplace, zero accidents and improved safety culture. Health and Safety is something all good companies invest heavily to achieve, and we really appreciate the fact that progress made by these efforts has been recognised by such a prestigious award”.
Tinsley Bridge carry out on-site work and project engineering at the Outokumpu various sites in Sheffield and are accredited to the Occupational Health and Safety Management System BS OHSAS 18001.
