New Award from Innovate UK

Tinsley Bridge has received a further award from Innovate UK. The award will be used to establish a Knowledge Transfer Partnership Scheme.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships is Europe’s leading programme involved in helping businesses improve competitiveness and productivity through the better use of knowledge, technology and skills that reside within the UK knowledge base.

Supported by a Government grant via Innovate UK, the partnership employs high calibre graduates to work on projects which are core to the strategic development of the business. The scheme is a partnership with Sheffield Hallam University who will provide academic and research support from their Materials and Engineering Research Institute. The Tinsley Bridge Knowledge Transfer Partnership will expand our existing technical development activities which have already led to the design of innovative suspension components for the automotive, rail and defence vehicles. These developments will continue to give our customers a competitive advantage in their respective sectors.
