Global Manufacturing Festival

Tinsley Bridge Group exhibited at the Global Manufacturing Festival conference event in Sheffield on 18 April 2013.

Now in its third year, the GMF brings together some of the world’s leading organisations from advanced engineering and manufacturing sections. This year the focus was on technologies that connect SMEs in the UK’s materials based engineering supply chains, such as Tinsley Bridge, with major international consumers. The conference aims to increase the understanding of complex supply chain structures in high growth markets including aerospace, renewables, medical and nuclear.

Our stand profiled the Group’s wide range of specialist engineering expertise. In particular the large scale capabilities of Tinsley Bridge Engineering, who deliver integrated turn key projects bringing together CAD design, fabrication & manufacture, assembly, installation and commissioning on site.

The exhibition was held at The University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre with Boeing, a world class centre for advanced machining and materials research for high value manufacturing sectors.
